Our Story

Ctrl Alt was established in the UAE in July 2024 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Alt Ltd.

Combining groundbreaking technology and expert financial engineering, Ctrl Alt is the B2B infrastructure provider that makes structuring and investing in alternative asset classes efficient, cost-effective, and accessible.

Alt Ltd was launched in 2022 by Matt Ong (formerly of Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse) to open up access to the growing world of alternative assets, Ctrl Alt has since become the leading expert in the sector. Through Ctrl Alt, businesses can structure and distribute private equity, infrastructure, private credit, real estate and more.

This is achieved via their sophisticated technology stack which includes tokenization, that streamlines existing investment structures.

With offices in the UK, Ireland and now the UAE, the Ctrl Alt team is composed of financial and product experts including alumni from Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, UBS and Revolut.

Robert brings a strong finance background, having structured new financial products for NBFIs at Lloyds in London. Since relocating to Dubai, he has successfully built and scaled multiple ventures across FinTech and PropTech and has a deep knowledge of the Middle Eastern market.

Lee is a compliance expert with 23 years experience across financial services, holding senior roles as an Executive, Board member and FCA-approved person. He’s worked in banking, wealth management, credit and more recently in fintech, guiding firms through FCA authorisation.

Matt spent the first part of his career working across fund structuring, alternative investments and trading at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse. He has extensive knowledge of structuring financial products, regulation and asset raising.

Matt is an expert builder with both deep and relevant experience in FinTech and Investments from his time at Revolut and Shares. Matt is passionate about building scale-ups from ground zero.
Ctrl Alt has determined that all of these individuals are 'fit and proper' in line with all applicable regulatory requirements. Our assessment considered: their financial soundness; their knowledge, skills & experience; and their honesty, integrity & reputation.

No individual who is part of the management body has been convicted of any offence of dishonesty, fraud, financial crime or an offence under laws relating to companies, banking, insolvency, money laundering and insider dealing. No individual is subject to ongoing inquiries or investigations in respect of such offences.

As noted above,
Robert Farquhar is also a member of the board.
