What's Involved
You will report to the COO and play a key role in building, managing and scaling Ctrl Alt’s talent function. We are seeking someone who can take full ownership of our talent strategy from talent acquisition to development, engagement, and retention. This is a high-impact, hands-on role with the opportunity to influence culture and shape how we attract and retain top talent across all our offices.
You will be expected to work closely with leadership, hiring managers, and team members across the business to design and implement initiatives that align with Ctrl Alt’s growth and culture. This role is based in our head office in London with opportunities to visit other global locations.
We’re currently hiring for 15+ roles across multiple functions, and this position is critical to ensuring we attract, engage, and retain the exceptional talent needed to support our rapid growth and evolving organisational needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Own and execute the end-to-end talent strategy across recruitment, development, and retention.
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and build structured hiring plans across departments.
- Build a proactive talent pipeline and Ctrl Alt’s network of professional candidates.
- Design and run scalable recruitment processes that reflect Ctrl Alt’s values and culture.
- Enable employee performance through setting review processes with goals and clear KPI’s.
- Develop and implement learning and development programs to support employee growth.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on talent-related matters.
Requirements
Must Haves
- 3+ years of experience in a talent, recruitment, or people operations role, ideally in a high-growth tech or fintech environment.
- Proven experience in building and scaling recruitment processes and/or talent programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of modern talent practices and tools (e.g., ATS, sourcing platforms).
- Passion for people, culture, and building high-performing teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience working across international teams and navigating multi-jurisdictional employment practices is a plus.
