What's Involved

As an Operations Placement Student, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the day-to-day operations of a fast-growing fintech company at the forefront of asset tokenization. Working closely with the Operations and wider cross-functional teams, some of the things you’ll assist in are process management, data handling, documentation. The breadth of work will stretch across many sections of the business.

This role is ideal for a motivated student eager to develop a strong foundation in fintech operations, financial technology, and digital assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day running of core operational processes
  • Assist in data validation, reconciliations, and documentation to maintain accuracy across operational systems
  • Take ownership of ad hoc operational tasks, research requests, or short-term projects as assigned
  • Learn how the operations team integrates with other areas of the business to achieve shared objectives
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Learn, understand, and help apply the products, rules, regulations, procedures, and controls of the business

Requirements

Must Haves

  • Currently a second-year undergraduate student on track for a 2:1 or above (or equivalent)
  • Proactive, motivated, and highly organised
  • Strong written, verbal, and digital communication skills
  • Reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
  • Demonstrates a commitment to personal growth and continuous improvement

Nice to Haves

  • Knowledge of blockchain or tokenization
  • Knowledge of startups and fintechs
